My project today is a birthday card I made for my sister. I had intended a floral theme, but the colors and shapes I chose just insisted on something more fun.

My base is Rich Coral, layered with Lemon Drop. The Lemon layer is embossed with the Fun Stampers Journey embossing folder, Birthday Bash, which can be found in the current trends mini catalog- Bloom This Way. I die cut some balloons with the Uplift die set out of Spring Filled Prints paper. Both of these items are also in the mini catalog. The paper matches the treat box that I made for my sister. I stamped and die cut the Make a Wish sentiment and then covered it with a thin layer of Journey Glaze. See how shiny it is? I finished up by adding some twine for the balloon strings and flicking some Black Licorice Silk over the whole thing.
