I’m Teaching Again-Part 1
Hello, friends! It’s been a long time coming, but here it is; my first blog entry for chelliebcreations.
As the title suggests, I want to announce that I am teaching again. Last Saturday, Greenfield Library hosted me and about 20 attendees for a lovely card making class. I taught them how to make two cards featuring ink blending techniques, a bit of foiling, and some basic die cutting. Let’s take a look at the first card:
We used all Gina K Designs products for this one. The main image is the Bold Balloon Poly Glaze that was foiled with Brilliant Blue foil. We used the coordinating Bold Balloon Stencil to apply Wild Dandelion, Red Hot, and Blue Raspberry inks using blender brushes. The sentiment is from the Birthday Babble sentiment strips, also foiled with Brilliant Blue foil. I added some Sparkling Sea sequins to give it just a bit more bling. The layers were cut using Master Layouts 2.
What do you think? Simple little card, but with some great sparkle and shine and some cool color blending where the balloon images overlap. Thanks so much for visiting today! Stay tuned for my next post where I will show the second card we made.
